How old are you??

Blake was 4 yesterday!  I can hardly believe it.  We had a party for some of him with some of his little friends from school and will go home this weekend to celebrate with the family.  It has been so rainy that all the partying took place inside, but the kids seemed to have a great time anyway!  Blake got a bike and a soccer ball and goal.  He also got a "super fast" (as he says) pair of soccer cleats and socks with shin guards from his friends the Crawfords!  He's ready to play!     

Spring Sing 2009

Blake and Blair had their "Spring Sing" today at pre-school.  They both did a great job.  Blair was especially excited to see her daddy.

Happy Easter

We had a great day!  Went to early church for a beautiful service, 

followed by lunch, naps, a walk and golf (on tv).   

Easter Egg Hunt

We had an easter egg hunt yesterday.  Blake and Blair had a really great time.  I would've taken more pictures but they weren't still long enough!  

The Masters

Scott and I went to the practice round at the Master's on Monday with our friends Heath and Kathy.  The weather started out a little on the yucky side but all in all it shaped up to be a pretty day.   

Blake's First Fish

He reeled in a little blue gill.  Dad took it off the hook and showed Blake how to hold it.  He put it back in the water all by himself.  

I think Blake's favorite part was the worms.  He turned over every rock he could find at mom and dad's to get a whole can of worms.

Spring Break

Blake and Blair picked all of mom and dad's daffodils.

I took Blake and Blair to visit Mamaw, Papaw and Nana Jane last week.  We all had a really great time.  Blake and Blair played outside at Nana's and made an Easter egg tree.  They also got to go fishing and visit the chicks and bunnies at the feed store with mamaw and papaw.  I left on Friday and Scott and I went to the Monday practice round for the Masters.  

Psychedelic Sorbet

We stopped to get TCBY on the way home from church today.  After naps Blake and Blair ate at their picnic table.  We have really enjoyed playing outside the last couple of days!

Oreo Cupcakes

Ready for School

Blair turned 2 yesterday! I can hardly believe how fast time seems to go by these days.  They are certainly a handful but I try to often to remind myself that these days are fleeting.  Blair took treats to her class yesterday.  She wore a shirt that said "birthday girl" and whenever anyone wished her a happy birthday her teacher said she patted her shirt.  After a nap Nana, Mamaw, Papaw and Mimie came.  We had Oreo cupcakes for desert on Friday and special cupcakes that made a "2" on Saturday.  Thank you Nana!!  Blair got lots of clothes and she loved her new shoes. She is definitely a shoe girl.  Mommy and Daddy gave her a new pink and purple tri-cycle.  We had a great day!

Cherub Choir

Blake made his debut with the Cherub Choir this morning at church.  I had to laugh as he went to the altar.  We battled this morning over matching shoes and a tucked in shirt.  By the time Sunday School was over and he was ready to sing, his shirt was untucked and he had pink marker all over it.  Oh well, he did such a good job--who cares and it just goes to show you what's really important!!  Unfortunately, my camera battery died half way through the song.      

Ears

She wasn't a fan of the gown, but can you blame her?

She kept pulling at the bracelet they put on her ankle and saying "boo boo".

Blair saw an ENT last week and he concluded that she needed tubes in her ears.  It's not that she has had that many ear infections but when she gets them it usually takes  two or three rounds of antibiotics to get rid of them.  Her pediatrician also felt her speech was slightly delayed.  She had the surgery today.  It went very well, no problems.  She is running around acting like her usual sweet self!

Birthday Party

Saturday Blake went to a birthday party for his friend Alden.  It was a Lego party and he had a great time.  Ms. Amy throws the best parties!  I would've taken more pictures but I was too busy eating all of the yummy goodies she made!

All bundled up!

It snowed yesterday morning.  Blake played in it yesterday at our friends' house while I took Blair to the ENT.  She is having tubes put in her little ears next Wednesday.  Today I bundled both up (which took longer than we actually played outside) and we played in what snow was left.  Blair was very skeptical of the snow at first.  But, Blake basically shoved her into the yard so she didn't have much choice at that point (ahhh, big brothers).  They both had a good time as did the dog.     

Ice

Just some pictures from the little ice storm we had Monday night and Tuesday.  Thankfully, we only lost power for just a couple of hours early Tuesday morning.  I think it broke some limbs on the pines in our backyard.

Blake went to a birthday party for his buddy Landon on Saturday.  It was a swim party at the Y and they had a ball!  They have been in the same pre-school class since they were one.  It's hard to believe our boys are turning four this year!
