Easter 2015

We had a lovely Easter!  Blake was a little tired this morning after a FULL day at the ballpark yesterday.  I don't think he was really awake in the pictures.  

Baseball season is in full swing and we are loving playing for the Mudcats.  We are off to a great start and very excited about the season!  

Breckenridge

We had a great Spring Break in Breckenridge.  The kids went skiing for the first time and loved it!  

Balir 8th Birthday

Blair had a party with her friend Hannah who's birthday is in March.  It was gymnastics party at the gym where they both take.  They invited several of their friends.  Mom and Dad visited.  We ate lunch in Nashville on their way out of town.  We took Blair to get ice cream at her favorite place.  We also visited the library where her artwork was on display as a part of a Youth Art Month exhibit.

Christmas 2014

4 Generations! 1929-1949-1979-2007-I am so blessed!

 Christmas Eve we went to our lovely candlelight service at Madison Street UMC. Always such a lovely and special way to celebrate.

 Christmas morning Blake received a Manning jersey, XBOX, whiffle ball set, and a few other goodies. Blair received an iPod, doll clothes, and also a few other goodies.

 Both got ski goggles in their stocking! Wonder where we might be headed for Spring Break??

Ballet 3

This is Blair's 5th year in ballet. I love watching her dance. She takes it so seriously and has a grace and poise that I could only dream about. Her class will be the stars of the show in this recital. She is very excited!

Better Late Than Never?

Blake started 4th grade this year and Blair began 2nd grade. They are both doing great in school. At school Blair is in the Spanish Club and Blake is involved in PASS and the PE Club.

All Stars

Blake was selected to play All Stars for CNLL this season. It has been exciting! They are a great little team! We defeated Dickson Co. to win the district championship and earn a trip to the state tournament.

Phillies Baseball 2014

Blake played pee-wee baseball for the Phillies again this year. He was their first baseman. The team went 15-1 and was defeated in the championship game for the tournament. It was a great season!

Blair-Ballet 2014

Blair had two parts in this year's recital-Ballet of the Playroom Dolls. She was an Icelandic doll and a Southern Belle. This is her fourth year to take ballet. She is so graceful and loves the spotlight. She certainly did not get that from me! She is pictured with her friend Sarah who was also a student of mine this year.

Blake's 9th Birthday

We celebrated Blake's 9th birthday with family.

Easter

My mom and dad visited for Easter. We had a nice weekend even though Blake was sick on Good Friday. We did a little yard work and they got to see Blair play soccer and Blake play baseball. He hit his first home run! It was exciting!

Blair's 7th Birthday

Blair celebrated her birthday with friends painting pottery at Horsefeathers. He family party was postponed because of the ice storm but we did get to have a fun little time time at Nana's church later in March.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

We came back to out house on Christmas Eve. We went to the candlelight service at church and had a nice evening getting ready for Santa. Christmas morning was fun and we stayed in our pj's all day!
